DHH Teacher | Williamstown, Massachusetts

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation services for school staff and families to address the unique needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students’ participation in classroom activities through advocacy, training, and targeted support
- Monitor student progress and offer recommendations for accommodations, technology, or instructional adjustments
- Serve as a resource on best practices for teaching students with hearing loss to ensure an inclusive educational environment
- Document services and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-aged children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, especially in a consulting role
- Proficiency in strategies and technology that support access to curriculum for students with hearing challenges
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
