- Strong skills in developing and adapting curriculum to various learning needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and advocacy for students
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support tailored to students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ abilities, needs, and progress
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure classroom accessibility
- Serve as a resource for families regarding hearing loss and student advocacy
- Develop and maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
