Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Proficiency and fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with deaf or hard of hearing students, is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across various grade levels
