Key Qualifications:
- Certified or licensed as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Demonstrated experience providing direct DHH services in educational settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with current educational technology and virtual instruction platforms
- Ability to consult with educators and families to adapt materials and instructional strategies
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group instruction to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing across five campuses
- Adapt and differentiate lessons to meet diverse student needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
- Provide consultation, resources, and advocacy for accessibility and communication needs
- Maintain documentation and comply with all educational and district guidelines
