Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Demonstrated experience teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, accommodations, and assistive technology relevant to Deaf/Hard of Hearing learners
- Proficiency in sign language (such as ASL), cued speech, or other communication methodologies as appropriate
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction tailored to the unique needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
