Qualifications:
- Current certification or credential in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) education required
- Experience working as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication and advocacy skills for supporting DHH students in various environments
- Familiarity with educational technology and willingness to deliver services both onsite and virtually
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple school locations
- Commitment to tailored instruction and IEP implementation for DHH students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative DHH services to students across five campuses
- Deliver specialized instruction, adapting teaching strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other service providers to support student growth
- Complete required documentation and maintain detailed records for student progress and compliance
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and ensure accommodations are effectively implemented
This is a full-time contract position (37.5 hours weekly), scheduled consistently with the school year calendar. The role combines onsite presence with opportunities to provide virtual support, maximizing your impact within the district.
