Qualifications
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Strong knowledge of assistive technologies and inclusion strategies
- Comfortable adapting instruction for virtual and in-person environments
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for diverse school communities
- Ability to manage a multi-campus caseload
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and consultative DHH services according to student IEPs
- Develop individualized instructional activities and accommodations
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and support transition planning
- Engage families and support teams to ensure continuity of services
- Travel as needed between campuses and provide virtual instruction when required
