Qualifications:
- Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Deaf & Hard of Hearing, or
- Valid California Special Education Credential with an authorization for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated proficiency in supporting and teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Able to work onsite; this position is not available for virtual or hybrid arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, school teams, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, attend meetings, and participate in professional development as required
- Provide advocacy, encouragement, and guidance to help students access their full potential
