Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Massachusetts
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide virtual educational services to students in Massachusetts. This is a contract opportunity for a passionate educator who thrives in a remote environment and is committed to supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing through specialized instruction and collaboration.

As a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, you will provide virtual instruction and support services to students with hearing loss while collaborating with families, teachers, and special education teams. You will help students access their educational environment, make progress toward IEP goals, and develop the skills needed for academic success.
This remote DHH position offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a virtual setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual direct and consultative services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and special education teams
- Support students with accommodations and modifications related to hearing loss
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service documentation
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Communicate regularly with parents and educational staff
- Utilize teletherapy technology effectively to engage students and support learning
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts teaching license/certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education
- Previous experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Previous virtual or teletherapy experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience working with students across a variety of communication needs preferred
