Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education

- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage traveling to multiple locations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Understanding of compliance and documentation related to comp minutes
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across different school sites
- Travel to assigned locations as an itinerant teacher, ensuring consistent support for all caseload students
- Maintain and track required comp minutes and documentation according to school and legal requirements
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers to promote student success
- Adapt and modify curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and communication preferences
- Offer consultative support and resources to school personnel to facilitate optimal inclusion
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with student assessments and progress monitoring
